Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
Unlike other songbooks that I may skip on purpose due to horrible tunes getting stuck in my head, Baby Beluga is a tune I don’t mind reading or singing. I find it to be quite a pleasant tune that I hope to pass on to my own children one day. In my school library, we had an air-filled whale in our library that we would sit in and read and I would often choose this book, even as a second-grader, because I liked reading it, and nothing else seemed quite as fitting as reading Baby Beluga while in a blow-up whale.
Singing helps little ones develop speech and listening skills, making Baby Beluga great for the youngest of listeners. We think this book would make a great add-on gift for baby showers and birthdays for little ones ages 0-4 years young.
