Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
Honey bees are an often misunderstood insect. I think that both children and adults would benefit from this book so more people can become better at distinguishing bees from wasps, understanding their importance in the world and in our ecosystem, not only because it’s interesting and they are such unique creatures, but because populations of a variety of bees have plummeted in recent years. This book does a fantastic job sharing information about honey bees in a unique way and from varying perspectives. Most importantly, the beautiful illustrations will keep little ones engaged and interested to learn more. I think this book would be a fantastic book to pair with

Gift Pairing Idea: We suggest pairing this Bee book with the following game: Grandpa Beck’s The Bears and The Bees. It’s a card game that builds a hive by matching cards, a fun, easy to understand the game that will entertain the whole family.
