Description
All Aboard! National Parks: A Wildlife Primer is a board book that introduces little ones to the United States National Parks, one of the best ways to view nature and wildlife in the great outdoors in America. This book is a very short, easy read perfect as a basic introduction to national parks for babies and toddlers. The pages inside share a simple activity that can be done in a national park, with a corresponding scene that illustrates a certain park and the wildlife that may be found there. For example, for Acadia National Park in Maine, the scene is at the coastline with the following text “Watching the Sunrise from the Seashore”, with a little girl and her dad skipping rocks, and a Puffin labeled in the scene as well. This children’s board book about our National Parks contains a total of 22 pages. The book’s dimensions are 6.9 x 0.5 x 6.9 inches.

Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
We love that this book introduces our national park system to little ones. It’s simple information and easy to understand illustrations make it a great board book for babies and toddlers, or even for little ones learning to read in kindergarten or first grade. We love the idea of getting this book to get children excited about an upcoming national park trip!
Gift Pairing Idea: Make it into a gift set by pairing it with a small plush toy that can come with you on your national park trip, like this small Stuffed Animal Black Bear by Bearington Collection, an animal that is found in many of our national parks!
