Smart About Sharks is a hardcover children’s book that teaches children all about sharks. It’s part of series of books made by Owen Daley called ‘All About Animals’. This book contains really thoughtful compositions of sharks, including information about what sharks eat, their anatomy, an index of species nomenclature and world region. One page shares information about why sharks are such good predators, sharing information about their Lateral Line – a fluid-filled canal in a sharks body that detect the movement and direction of objects in the water around them, and other interesting evolutionary traits that make sharks such successful hunters. Smart About Sharks was published by Flying Eye Books in August 2016. It contains a total of 40 pages. The book’s dimensions are 9.4 x 0.4 x 11.7 inches.
