Description
Crazy About Cats is a hardcover children’s book that’s all about wild cat species. It’s part of series of books that are all about animals. It contains really thoughtful compositions of cats, including information about what cats eat, their feline anatomy, an index of species nomenclature and world region. One page shares information about the cat’s unique patterns, sharing the nuances between the rosette or spot-like marking of a jaguar and a leopard, how they use it as camouflage, that tigers are the only cats with vertical stripes, all artfully showcased on a two-page spread showing the cats side by side for easy comparison. Crazy About Cats was published by Flying Eye Books in September 2017. It contains a total of 40 pages. The book’s dimensions are 9.3 x 0.4 x 11.7 inches.

Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
The books in this ‘About Animals’ series are very well done. This Crazy About Cats book would be great for a cat lover, or just an animal lover, especially if you pair it with another one or two books in the series, like Smart About Sharks, or Mad About Monkeys, or Bonkers About Beetles, all made by Owen Davey.
Gift Pairing Idea: Pair this Crazy About Cats Book with Mudpuppy’s 48 piece Bengal Tiger Mini Puzzle (which is usually less than five dollars – STEAL) for a Jungle Cat themed present, perfect for a 4 to 6-year-old. For older children, consider a larger puzzle instead, like Mudpuppy’s 300 peice Cat-Shaped Rainforest Puzzle.
