Description
Hape Dante Push and Go Toy is a push toy with wheels and a push mechanism that is primarily made of wood. It is made of sturdy, composite wood and adorned with orange, black, and white painted details that make a cute cat (I think it looks more like a Tiger, if we’re getting specific). The tail wobbles as the cat moves. The biggest feature of Dante is the internal mechanism the propels the cat forward when its back is pushed down and released. This push and go toy encourages children to explore movement both in how the toy moves, how to make him move by pressing him down, and their own crawling and walking skills as they chase Dante around after propelling him forward.

Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
This Hape Toy is so cute, and really great for children over 6 months of age. My daughter was gifted this for hr first Christmas at 7 months old, and she loves it, even though she can’t press him down yet, she loves to pick him up, make his wheels spin, and push him around. I’m sure she will play with him lots over the years, especially once she gets the hang of pushing him down and watching him go. He works best on hard surfaces when using the push and go feature. This push and go toy is perfect for little ones around 1-2, even 3 years old.
