This style is ideal for beginner and child kayaks so there is no chance of getting stuck in the kayak if it were to flip. When it comes to kayak sizing, weight is the most important factor. This youth-sized kayak is designed for children who weigh 130 pounds or less, and the age recommendation is 5 years old and over. Make of high-density polyethylene. Created with a wide stance design to provide a more stable base and deter flipping. Also designed with a sloped back-end and swim-up step to more easily re-enter the youth kayak from the water. The kayak also includes multiple footrest and finger handle positions for different sized riders, as well as scupper holes to drain the cockpit if needed. Kayak dimensions are the following: 72 x 24 x 9 inches. Kayak weight is 18 pounds.
