This Mudpuppy Jigsaw Puzzle is a 64-piece puzzle that features 40+ animals found in arctic regions of the world. The animals featured in the puzzle include more well-known arctic animals like polar bears, reindeer, orca, and seals, as well as lesser name animals in arctic regions, like ermine, lamprey, haddock, and arctic hare. The inks used in printing the puzzles consist of non-toxic, soy-based inks. The puzzle itself is created with 90% recycled paper. Comes in a keepsake carrying box for storage which is made of 70% recycled paper. It also comes with a paper ‘field guide’ with the animal names and images. Puzzle dimensions are 23 by 15.5 inches.

Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
This puzzle is beautifully designed and made with safe, recycled materials, which is great. But what really sets this search and find puzzle apart from other puzzles is that it’s both fun to put together and interactive after it is put together, since its a ‘Search and Find’ puzzle. All of the animals on the perimeter of the puzzle can be found inside the main area of the puzzle as well, making this puzzle into a second activity once it’s put together (brilliant!). Plus, it helps children learn about all of the different artic animals in the world, some of which they will likely have never heard of before this fabulous puzzle. We think this puzzle would be a great gift for children ages 4, 5, 6, and 7 years old. 4-year-olds may need to complete it with help from a parent while 6 and 7-year-olds will likely be able to complete it on their own.
