Wooden Sandbox with Cover and Bench Seats

Description

This wooden sandbox with cover is made out of cedar wood. It features a canopy top cover to shade children while playing. It also features convertible bench seats that cover the sand in the sandbox when it is not in use, keeping the sand fresher and cleaner, longer. It has a bottomless design for versatile sand depth. It’s made with heat-treated cedar wood making it withstand outdoor conditions better, and it also utilizes rust-resistant hardware. The canopy top is made with waterproof polyester. It has the following dimensions: 6” D x 46.5” W x 57” L.

Why we like it at Happy Little Tadpole:
Sandboxes can provide hours and hours of open-ended play outdoors. We like that unlike other sandboxes for children, this sandbox with cover isn’t a plastic eyesore. It’s made out of natural materials and blends into a backyard. We also like the versatility of this sandbox, with the benches that turn into a sandbox cover when not in use. The canopy is also a great feature, so children are protected from the sun while playing. We think this would make a wonderful backyard addition for children ages 2+, especially for active toddlers in the 3-5-year-old age range.
