Description
This North Pole Soft Activity Baby Book is made by a company called Taf Toys. It’s a soft book that opens like an accordion, making it a book that can stand up on it’s own, usable during tummy time on play mats, or along the edges of a crib or bassinet. One side features images in highly contrasting colors that are primarily black and white, making it eye catching to very young infants ages 0-6 months. The other side features bright colors with contrast, although maybe not such high contrast as the other side, making it a great side to use more as babies eyes develop further, after 6 months of age. The “pages” feature smiling animals and shapes including bear, swan, the moon, and a penguin, as well as a sailboat, flower, sun, umbrella, and a baby safe mirror. Some pages crinkle, others have ribbon pulleys or textured flaps, and a star teether. The top of the pages include little white velcro tabs so the book can be attached to something like a stroller or crib spindle. This Arctic Animals Tummy Time Soft Book measures 5.5 X 33.5 inches.

This book is a fantastic item for babies! I bought it for my daughter, and it’s improved her tummy time tremendously. At 10 weeks old, she loves the black and white side of the book. We open it and put it in front of her tummy time mat and she studies it for long periods of time. I’m sure this book will get lots of use as she gets bigger and engages more with it, feeling it and gazing at the colorful side in months to come! One of my favorite baby toy purchases yet. This is a great toy to get for newborns since babies can start engaging with it as soon as they start tummy time.
